Membership of the Limerick Kayak Club Junior sections is open to children aged 10 – 17 years. No previous experience is required for Junior members but they do need to be water confident and able to swim. We have a limited fleet of Kayaks for Junior members.
Our Junior season runs from April to September each year and we accept new members at the beginning of the season. Spaces are limited. Kayaking takes place each Tuesday night in Castleconnell from 6.30-8pm.
Junior membership: €25 per child
For new memberships please email us first at limerickkayakclubjuniors@gmail.com to check places are available. Then to join you must follow these two steps:
- You join Limerick Kayak Club through Canoeing Ireland. Important you need your Canoe Ireland membership number which will be generated during step 1 to complete step 2 LKC application form.
- Complete LKC application form. LKC will be automatically notified when you join.

If you have any questions please email us at limerickkayakclub@gmail.com . All memberships expire on 31st December each year in line with Canoeing Ireland membership regardless of when you join. Limerick Kayak Club is affiliated to Canoeing Ireland & Canoeing Ireland membership is included with club membership.
Codes of Conduct
All leaders, junior members and parents/guardians of junior members are required to return a signed Code of conduct form when first joining the club
